Big Girl

Honestly, where is the time going?  Zoey has officially outgrown her high chair.  She will only sit in it every now and then and it is for a minimal amount of time.  Her favorite place to site is her play table, and I must say she looks so cute when she sits at it!   Adding the paper to the table was a great idea (thank you Little Baby Garvin) for that awesome idea.  It is great to catch all of the mess and for having fun!
Of course every time Zoey sits down at the table she now says "TV on."  We worked so hard at eating at the table "as a family" without the TV on, but how can I resist?  She is so cute sitting here watching Disney and eating her Cheerios.
A little TV and cereal never hurt anyone!

Bump Watch - 25 & 26 Weeks

Once again, I am so far behind on posting my bump progress.  It probably has to do with the fact that I take the pictures a few days into the week and then rush off to work for the day.  So this week I decided to piece 2 weeks together!

Weight Gain: 22lbs+ (and a passed glucose test!)
Maternity Clothes: Of course.  It's so hot here right now that I will do anything to be in skirts or shorts.
Sleep: Not too bad.  My arms keep falling asleep from laying on my side all night.
Movement: Lots! This little guy moves around a lot more than Zoey ever did, or that I can remember.  Makes me worried for whats to come.
Cravings: Chocolate, cold chocolate.  So anything chocolate that comes from the freezer goes straight to the belly.
Next Appointment: Mid-May.  Should be quick and painless.

Hair Wars!

I love bows and hair clips and little pig tails... but you know who doesn't?  Zoey!  That's right, my own child hates me doing her hair and it's so frustrating.  No amount of distractions (cookies, Mickey, cell phones, iPad, etc.) will allow me enough time to get it pulled up.
As you can see from the war zone pictured above I was able to get her hair pulled back, but I know it can be so much prettier and neater.  But the problem is, I don't have any time to pull it up!
Let's just say the end result is so cute, but after a few minutes of her running around or riding in the car I get the results of the bottom picture where it's pretty much falling out.  There is no way she will let me fix it, that would just result in another battle and the first one was hard enough.
I must say, even though Zoey puts on such a battle and the end result is a hot mess, she still looks so adorable.  I can only hope that in a few months she will be more cooperative when it comes to me doing her hair.  Let's face it, I have an Etsy shop dedicated to bows and headbands.  She can't be on this bow strike forever.
